About Dr Aubert

Dr. Claudette Aubert, the founder and visionary of “Word Teaching Ministries,” had a dream that one day she would make a difference in her community. The dream became a reality when the Word Teaching Ministries was birthed in the River Parishes of Louisiana. Since its inception, Louisiana has never been the same. Entire families have been changed.

Dr. Aubert has spent over 29 years in the Public School System, with experience spanning from a speech pathologist and guidance counselor to a vocational coordinator

Dr. Albert’s direct interaction with the public caused her to understand the needs and challenges facing children and families. As a result of an overwhelming desire to make that difference, Word Teaching Ministries sponsored programs designed for at-risk teenagers, as well as offered conferences for men and women.

This powerful woman of God has a deep compassion for women who have been rejected, abused, has low self-esteem, is divorced, or remains in troubled relationships. Thereby, Dr. Aubert began hosting a Quarterly Breakfast/Luncheon as an outreach to help develop self-esteem, provide information on health issues, educate on child rearing, living single, developing healthy marriages, as well as many other social issues.

As a Motivational Speaker, Dr. Aubert has spoken both on the national and international arenas. In 2004, she traveled with a missionary team to Congo and Cape Town, South Africa as well as other parts of Africa (Durban, Johannesburg and Lavender Hill). Dr. Aubert has also traveled to Belgium and Argentina. Going beyond the walls of New Hope, Dr. Aubert has ministered at other churches, tent revivals, conferences, and governmental ceremonies. She has also ministered along side Paula White during a Love Convention hosted by Pastor Bridget Steib of Ministry of Love in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Prior to pastoring, Dr. Aubert hosted a weekly radio broadcast on 1010 WCKW (Word Teaching Ministry), which spanned for 6 years. She also co-hosted a TV program on channel 20, WHNO, New Orleans, in conjunction with God’s Heart to You TV program. A major conference was hosted by Dr. Aubert in Gonzales, LA at the Gonzales Civic Center. The conference “A Time of Refreshing” was appropriately titled, in that all who attended experienced refreshing! In July of this year, Dr. Aubert and the New Hope women hosted another conference at the church. Currently, Pastor Aubert hosts her own TV program on channel 20 WHNO, which airs each Sunday morning at 6:00 am.

On December 29, 2001 Dr. Claudette Aubert became the proud Pastor of New Hope International Community Center of Vacherie, Louisiana. God has truly placed His seal of approval upon this ministry.

Pastor Aubert has been married to Elton Aubert, Councilman of St. James Parish, for over 30 years. They have 3 children and a beautiful grandson. Together, they are moving forward to fulfill God’s mandate for the building up of His kingdom.

Pastor Aubert knows God has loosed her to loose the church of its traditions pertaining to women in ministry. God continues to work through her in setting the captives free, and confirms the word she preaches with signs following (Mark 16:20).
